However, in a major boost for Jürgen Klopp’s side, Salah has pledged his immediate future to the Merseyside giants — and secured a pay rise that elevates him to the same wage bracket as Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne.
According to The Sun, Salah will now earn £400,000 per week, up from his previous salary of £350,000. That makes him the joint-second highest earner in the Premier League, trailing only Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who reportedly pockets £500,000 per week.
