The move to Stamford Bridge followed a breakdown in his relationship at United, where tensions escalated after a confrontation with manager Ruben Amorim. Following disciplinary consequences, he was sidelined before eventually being sold. However, the change of environment has not delivered the desired turnaround, as his performances have declined.
This dip in form has extended beyond club football. Garnacho has recently been omitted from the national team setup, raising concerns about his place ahead of the 2026 World Cup. His current trajectory suggests mounting pressure both domestically and internationally.
